The following Traffic Management Flight NCO Yearly example has been taken out of IMT viewer so the formatting
might be off. I did not changed mission information,
only names to protect myself and the
people I have received the information from. If
you have anything you would like to
submit, please do so.
If
you have found this information useful, please let me know. Everyone of these
letters has taken considerable amount of time to put together. Please
treat yourself to something special from one of the ads on the page. We
will both get something out of it. (All money gathered pays for
hosting fees and domain fees. HONESTLY, when I see money come in it also
prompts me to work harder on the site.)

General Notes:
This is a good package and an even better learning tool. Here is a little
background concerning the award. The person who this was wrote for didn't
win the award but it helped get their decoration upgraded. This tells two
stories. First, anytime a supervisor takes identifying their airmen the better.
Second, what works for one "award" doesn't always work for all "awards"
Here is a little advise when you work an award...Whenever the word "all" is used
ask yourself if a solid number can be used in its place. This will add
more validity to your work and remove questions from the panel. Another
issue apparent within this package is the use of percentages. They are
very good when they can be quantified. Look at the following bullets for
example:
- Provided 1st class customer service; met/exceeded
expectations--99% of 100 surveys rated excellent or above
- Proponent of CSAF's "Fit to Fight" fitness philosophy--afforded all troops
10 hrs/week; earned 95% pass rate
- Revalidated 2TOX1 new CFETP & 5/7-lvl milestones--100% CDC pass rate--best
training program in LRS
Now look at the following bullets and determine where 100% came from:
- Revamped Transition Assistant Program
briefing--retirees/separatees 100% customer satisfaction achieved
- Aggressively monitored upgrade training; reduced number of personnel in
upgrade over 12 months by 50%
- Proponent of CSAF's "Fit to Fight" fitness philosophy--afforded all troops
10 hrs/week; earned 95% pass rate
