The following Enlisted Recognition Program (Airman of the Quarter, 2nd) Example has been taken out of IMT viewer so the formatting
might be off. I did not changed mission information,
only names to protect myself and the
people I have received the information from. If
you have anything you would like to
submit, please do so.
If
you have found this information useful, please let me know. Everyone of these
letters has taken considerable amount of time to put together. Please
treat yourself to something special from one of the ads on the page. We
will both get something out of it. (All money gathered pays for
hosting fees and domain fees. HONESTLY, when I see money come in it also
prompts me to work harder on the site.)

Note: IMHO, this package is very bad. It appears the writer's chain of
command failed him. There is a lot of good information in this package but
there are too many errors for a quarterly package. After the first bullet,
the problems started. First, ATM = Asynchronous Transfer Mode not
Asynchronous Trunking Module.
When you write, make sure you know what you are talking about. After this, there
are what I call, "Super Bullets".
"Supper Bullets" are over three lines including sub-bullet, included in this are
three line primary bullets. A three line primary bullet should and can be
separated into a primary and sub-bullet. After this seven of the bullets
are actual sentences. If
any line contains a pronoun, it
ought to be revisited at as should any line that contains punctuation. The
spelling errors, were
capitalization issues and there were only two minor
numbering errors. As a writer,
new or otherwise, find someone to look over your work. If you are entrusted in
looking over someone else's work, take it seriously. A supervisor who
doesn't know how to write, their airmen will suffer. Finally, take time
and review both the Tongue and
Quill and Preparing
Official Communications they are the bases for AF writing. |
