MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Superior airman who sets the standard of excellence performing with the highest degree of leadership and
technical skills found in seasoned Non-Commissioned officer; top airman out of 40 in squadron
- Volunteer for Operation Iraq Freedom from July thru November 03 at forward operating base location
- Key indispensable asset operating and maintaining the 9 voice switches providing an average of 25,000
incoming and outgoing telephone call daily a two army locations, Camp Swampy and Camp Swampier and
one Aerial Port operation--demonstrating superb customer service skills while dealing with other services
- Exemplary effort in managing and resolving major communications outage affecting Camp Swampy and Camp
Swampier; population of more than 1500 personnel during first week of mission operations in workcenter
-- Faced with no documentation or programming information on the existing equipment, directed a team of 5
technicians in a methodical and crafted troubleshooting and problem resolution process--resulting in the
identification of several equipment and programming errors as a result of actions from the previous team
-- Immediately began training less experienced team members; readied them to work independently for faster
troubleshooting and problem determination--excellent utilization of personnel, resources, and dollars
-- Outstanding orchestration of technicians and actions resulted in restoration of full service within 4 hours of
breakdown, complete documentation and reprogramming of telephone switch with new cut sheets; great feat
- Goal achiever-- maintaining numerous crucial telephone lines to the vital Air Evacuation Hospital and
Aerial Port mission; maintained superb operational capability percentage in the 4 months deployed

- Composed under pressure to reconfigure Army phone circuit supporting Army Chief of Staff immediate request
for new Satellite Passenger Terminal at Camp Wolf; telephone service vital to terminal operations
-- Skillfully and quickly learning functions of unfamiliar Army telephone equipment and identifying required
actions to get the circuit up and operational; high priority project with visibility with Senior Army personnel
-- Quick actions resulted in worldwide telephone service in new terminal within 2 hours of request--Top notch
-- Outstanding telephone technician whose skills and management experience far exceed those of his peers
LEADERSHIP ABILITIES AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCES:
- Subject Matter Expert for voice communication training--trained 15 reserve and guard personnel on the Basic
Access Module; filling out configuration sheets, installing switches, fabricating and testing cables configuring
long haul trunk groups; reduced training time from 6 months to 2 weeks in preparation for o/s deployment
- Trained 4 technicians from the 567 CS active duty; High praise from Superintendent of "C" flight
OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Outstanding achiever! Selected as the EAMS Top performer while deployed
